or you could try a badge carrier like for the irmscher badges

It would - I have seen two types of badge carrier that come with Irmscher badges. An 'I' shape one and the Irmscher logo 'car' shaped one.
There is someone on here, flame red Corsa, honeycombe style grill with 16v on it, might be worth checking some Premium garages and u2uing him.
If you go ahead with just sticking it on, glue gun glue would be best and you can get it thick to stick!
