.. and embarrassed! been out with some mates tonight, one has a 1.4 sri and another has a 1.2 ls and ive got a 1.2 breeze, we were all flooring it down a dual carriageway sad i know but they all were pulling away untill i was way behind! id expect that from the 1.4 but the other 1.2 suprised me! i was doing 5500 vevs in 5th gear and i couldnt even hit a tonne whereas the other lad in the ls got around 110!
now i dont usually floor it but i was suprised by the difference!
definately got my eye open for a 1.6 now lol!

according to parkers there is only a 1 bhp difference in the 1.2 8v and the 1.2i 8v. You really do need to go down through the gears to get something from it though
btw what alloys do you have as these may be slowing you down 1.2 8v has only got 45bhp lol

the 1.2 8v will still be injection...
only thing i can think it will be, is that it may be the late dispac engine, but i can see that affecting the power, but it may as it will have a different map on the ecu
