Just looking for opinions really, wont really affect my decision, as its my car, just looking for some pointers
ignoring engine (smallblock xe or xe on tb's) i cant really decide what to do with it

Can either leave it like it is, just with repsray and new engine

Resprayed, in bright colour but with fibreglass panels/drilled panels, fibreglass bumper, wings and persex windows

Sleeper ie, van rear windows, steels and whell trims etc

respray in white, polycarb windows, fiberglass panels, drilled post 97 front bumper (just a few holes, where the plate goes), that'll do...

Im struggling to decide about mine too

As it is the car looks good. The white & black scheme works.

Is the fibreglass panels & respray white not an option?

I sometimes get tempted to go down the rugged looking sleeper route but I don't think I'd want a car that doesn't look smart when its clean

leave it white,
paint the under side,
then do the light pannels,
c/b or f/b bonnet boot door skins,
poly windows..

or paint up all white all over..and put a well turned sexy engine it in..

The boot doesn't weigh anything either. It's the glass that makes the boot heavy.

It all depends on how clean you like your car.
Fiberglass panels do not line up and bow out of shape when at high speeds (Door tops bow out etc).
I looked into it for the twin engine corsa and went to look at BAT motorsports Corsa's as all panels are fiberglass (Doors,Boot,Roof,Wings etc etc) and i just couldent live with the lines the panels made and the ruffness off them.
Before doing the all fiberglass shell i would tell anyone to take a trip to BAT in liverpool and talk to them about it all (they offer fiberglass, carbon and kevlar panels)

Was the boot a pain then?

We need someone to make some normal wings in fibreglass
