So after about a year of these tyres i have bugger 2 up, and tonight i have found my new arch is ripping my tires apart.

Im going to shave/re-bend my arch so it dosnt rub again.

My tires are Pirelli P Zero Nero's which i dont like to much, As they are a non-directional tyre they dont seem to work as we as my old tyres.
I am presumming this is because they have to work both ways just as good, rather then one way superb.

I need a tire that is very good but will last, and not cut up after a few months.

So what do you use?

Falken ZE512's are thinner towards the top, might help with your arch problems

Not amazing in the wet but good in the dry

Best tyres I've used would either be rainsports or F1's

I'm on my second set of Yokohama Sport AVS on the Impreza. I find them faultless.

I was on back roads in pouring rain last night and the car was perfect.

Rainsports seem to be ontop at the minute,

All the tires are around £40-60 each so its down to performance rather then price

Wet is a big concern of mine so i could do with a good wet tire that can still perfome in the dry.

I have had falkens and yet the tire wall did help (thinner at the top) but from memory they were destroyed in my 1.4 8v, and didnt last.... ( icould be wrong though from memory) who runs these?

continentals conti sport 2's were good tyres, excellent in the wet, found eagle f1's to be a good tyre too.

have toyo t1-r's on the ek9 now, not too keen on them in the wet.

had dunlop sp9000 didn't like them

them uni royal's rain sports didn't like look of them tbh looked soiled to me??

ave gone for conti contact's 2 185/55/r15 thinking them are ok imo

nankangs are poo! imo as well had them in 17" they use to slide all over that's why they are a budget tyre and cheap and you get what you pay for...

this is all imo every ones different
