I always have my hand on my knob anyway, I'd never see the numbers.

Bit pointless if you ask me, surely you know what gear you're in anyways? Plus, gear displays have been around for ages that can be placed near the dash, which is a little less dangerous

wot on earth??
the product doesn't look bad at all but their claims are inthinkable
increased driving safety and enhanced fuel consumption efficiency
effective control over his vehicle at all times
how on earth can a GEAR KNOB do all this?
driver safety? no - if anything is a distraction
fuel efficiency? only if you move the gear knob (ie change gear) but my current gear knob can do that!
effective control? how is that any different to the current system i have?
and this is the best one....
The INDY-CATOR helps the driver reduce fuel consumption by up to 15% by means of an adapted driving style.
how on earth can a illuminating gear knob improve fuel economy by 15%?
