(edit cause the pics didnt work)
...only had my full licence since tuesday
I hit a stone wall at about 60 when we came over a single track humpback bridge. The front right tire burst and and the steel was dented, the bumper got smashed so did the headlight. Not to bothered about that but now the car steers to the left when the steering wheel is straight and makes a grinding noise. The wheel appears to be bent. Does anyone no what the problem is and aprox what it would cost to fix?
Thanks

But it is your car, is he going to pay for the damage?

Can you not think for yourself?

everyone after passing there test "gives it some" its how you find your limits.

just depends how much you push it, some go a little too far and do a bit of damage, then they have learnt and dont push it as hard,
as long as no one is hurt car can be fixed

only thing that gets hurt is your wallet

Not sure what is worse, crashing after three days or later admitting that you only did it because your mate told you to. Thats a few hundred quid to fix but you need to check out the mechanical damage before buying anything.

I'm frightened by the fact that you said 'I don't' rather than 'I didn't'.

So in future you're just going to do the same again. Bizarre.

Funny thing is, most young drivers I see drive like cocks too after driving for 3 years never mind 3 days. Everyone has done it after passing your test, hard luck mate hopefully it isn't too serious underneath. Good lesson learnt and nobody got hurt.

what nik said, you learnt the hard way without hurting anyone else, dont claim on your insurance just pay for it yourself and hopefully your worried parents, empty wallet and physical crash will be enough to give you a wake up call and remind you your not invinsible and your driving skills will be very limited unless your involved in track day motorsport of some sort

No point in ppl taking the piss. Everyone drives like a dick at first, i ended up in a ditch in my first couple of weeks. No damage, luckily, but it scared the shit outta me. You've gotta fuck up to realise how far you can push your motor
