Been offered a Corsa B 2ltr 16v..

It on a R plate, white and was a Merit to begin with.
Done around 50k and the engine has just done over that with proof.
Its in mint condition..
Koni Coliovers, full exhaust, piper cams, balanced and lightened fly.

pretty much standard inside... he is looking for around 2k?

What do people think? worth it?

lol... need one to replace my crashed blue one.

Wait a couple of months and i'll sell you the green one back!!
Its gettin there too, couple of weeks engine will be out painted and back in and running.

Why not just get a low mileage base model for a couple hundred like AK done & transfer all your bits engine included over???

thats a shout as well Colin, thinkin about gettin this one and sellin any of the bits off mine that i dont need.
I.e suspension, exhaust, C20XE etc.

Thats a good idea Not many XE's sitting at about 50k these days

I wouldn't pay 2k for a Merit, no matter what engine is has now.

Perhaps go in with a lower offer if you are not sure and let the seller decide.

Engine sounds good but base model

I would personally opt for the transfer of your bits to another shell.But it is a hassle

yeah is a bit.. basicly got all the bits off my blue one to put on it.
So it would be just the same as a sport.

Not sure..... base model thing is puttin me off a bit.
