I went to McDonalds earlier to get some chips and a Scooby UK Spec pulled up with a Golf GTi.

When I finished eating and started to pull off they both followed me on the motorway as I was going home, I've never put my 20let to the test so as they were along side me (wanting to race) I pulled off with the Impreza and beat him till 140, he then started to gain, 150 I was still infront, then there was a junction.

Never knew these 20let's were quicker rolling than Subaru's.

Might get my 20xe and give it ago against a Subaru sometime, or would I loose that one? lol

Thought I would post it

Uk spec scooby you should have pissed all over it same with the golf GTI

Uk spec scoobs are nothing special unless they have had some good engine work

Good that you gave them a good run for there money will wipe that smile off his face

My Corsa was not built for the track as the Scooby was, so wouldnt be a fair race.

loads of ppl post their race stories on here but when somebody posts of their let or xe corsa beating something it's always a put down / slagging etc etc

It's not clever or big to race on public roads but 95% of us have done it....haven't we?
