Hi,
Im considering buying this:

Corsa 1.4 16v Sport on Ebay.....

Its not that far away from me, and I could arrange money for it, depending on how high it goes.

Few problems is, im only 16, and not 17 till december, but I would LOVE a black 1.4 Sport, Its my ideal car. Also, its got 130,000 on it, how long to 1.4 Sport engines last?

A few benefits I would think with it is that I get a rake of time to touch it up, ie get rid of the lexus lights, get it colour coded etc..

So what do you all think? Is it worth even getting a car now? Cheers

Wouldnt imagine it would be that high though my dad? Its only group 5, but saying that, insurance companies are robbing bastards!!

Thing is, I dont know if another one is going to pop up this close to me, I would have a black sport over any other corsa, love them.

Depends, some insurances companies see straight though named drivers!!!!

Yup, thats what I thought... Thankfully ive got a brother who is a mechanic, so he can fix it

Will see how it goes, depends on the price, and various other factors..

group doesnt mean anything really

i am insured a group 17 car worth 14k but the same company would not insure me on a corsa gsi worth £800

Also says it doesn't have power steering - I thought all Sport's came with power steering?

Mines a 1995 SRi with the same 1400 16V eco Engine and that didnt have PAS i had to put it on myself, so must have been an optional extra?

I bought mine nearly 2months ago with tax and mot till June 07, 92k miles, there was nuthin wrong with it, just a slight scratch on the bonnet.

i got it for £500, if you want it that bad, get it just dont overpay.
