I worked there for about 6 months but now moved on to be more local, still go back there every so often.

Hahaha emtec, REMiT forever! When i did my apprenticeship I went to nottingham once, hated the place, much preferred my college vw sent me to in coalville by leicester, emtec came across as a business not a college.

I was with Remit from 2003-2005 when i emtec took over, they tried to convice vw to send us to nottingham once, but all the apprentices in my class and at my college, fought it and got in contact with VW to keep us at our college until the end of our apprenticeship, it worked fortunatly

I still work for VW but am now a parts advisor/driver and the apprentice in the workshop is with emtec and i think its fair to say he hates it. Shirt and tie job when you go to nottingham i hear, couldnt be doing that!

I worked for C&C originally then they have taken over several compays (more to come) and become huge!!!
