Since picking the car up the day after my 20th birthday, november 11th i have made a few changes to the old spanish nipper

Car how it was when i bought it

Note the shocking rear lights!

After 2 weeks of hunting on ebay picked up a set of standard rear lights

Made the back end look sooooo much better!

A whole 3 days after my purchase I went to Big Boys Toys in Essex and came back with

Fitted

Gave me a nice little induction roar, a pretty spool up noise and a nice little "tissschhhh" when i let off, kept a smile on my face for a while!

All was well for a while until my car kept dropping boost so fitted a new N75 valve, the cars boost controller pretty much and bypassed a valve which controlled the recirc valve, making it open and close whenever it fanced. This meant i could install some pretty red hoses (yes...a whole 2!)

The wheels on the car were really bugging me, never took my fancy that much and didnt suit the car in my opinion, so once again my good friend ebay came up trumps

Recently refurbed in a different shade of silver and Wolfsburg centre caps make them stand out a bit more to all the other standard wheels out there

Now car would of looked high as a kite on standard wheels so i bought some FK coilovers

They were christmas presents to myself, and as a christmas present from my mum and dad i got a Nomad A pillar gauge holder and boost and oil temp gauges so i could see what the car was doing

(not mine- pic stolen off of seatcupra.net)

Coilovers and gauges to be fitted on the 30th of Jan, so look of the car will be totaly transformed.

My next impulse purchase was a custom Cold Air Intake with a Green filter which i snapped up off a member of seatcupra.net

And fitted.....

Next update will be with wheels, coilovers and gauges fitted.

Have also ordered a Leon Cupra R splitter to go on the front, just so it hugs the floor a bit more!

It's a recirc valve, not an atmospheric one

Atmospheric on them send them loopy.

Although Forge have just released a hybrid, which is recircs 60% of boost and dumps the other 40% out a trumpet, but to be honest it's loud enough with the CAI fitted

A big thanks to Rich @ RG Motorsport for fitting everything for me, even after i did turn up an hour late! Also thanks to Nick for running me down there several times after i forgot to leave my keys with him lol

Car's great now, massive reduction in wheelspin when launching in first and i can turn the steering wheel more than quarter of a turn without the car toppling over
