£130 is not a lot of money for speakers, if you are looking to spend £25 on a set then I wouldnt bother TBH

What? you get what you pay for. I would sooner spend 130 on just them speakers. Than 130 of crap audio, eg a sub, front comps etc. They will sound a million times better.

my 6x9s only cost £25 and i thought they were pretty good.

there will!!!!

But i agree, there is no point in upgrading them for shit speakers, but they would be a lot better than standard but if you then listened to a set of amp'd components then you'd hear a huge difference.

i got a pair, Sony Xplod equilivant, for £50..no probs with them once i got the adaptor from Halfords!

thats fine, like i said my door speqakers die if i turn it up, they are broke

so i want these for the time being and then when i have done all the exterior to my car (lowering, head/tail lights and reapeaters) ill sort out a good sound system. with god components and a good sub. just for the time beign i will just use my 6 x 9s and some cheap door speakers

this is just my for the time being stuff.iv only got a cheap jvc headunit. once the rest of my car is finsihed is wwhen i will do the real sound system work including a boot build.

thats when i will be looking at a set of components and a sub/amp
