Were you pulled over then & tld you were doing 100mph?? Was this on a motorway or dual carriageway??

My mate was banned for doing 97 in a 60 so maybe expect a couple months ban & fine

http://www.pepipoo.com/Magistrates_guidelines.htm

For travelling between 21 and 30 mph faster than a 20-30 mph speed limit, or between 26 and 35 mph faster than a 40-50 mph speed limit, or between 31 and 40 mph faster than a 60-70 mph speed limit, the guidelines suggest that the magistrates endorse with 6 penalty points or consider disqualification for between 14 and 56 days.

You may find that link interesting even though you exceed the speed limit it does not constitute dangerous driving in some respects.

If you can contest the road was clear you were not drunk and that you dont believe you were doin 100 as your speedo is very in accurate as well know on corsa's you were most likely doing less.

Gives you a chance!!

so did they say you were doing dead on 100?

As looking at what Colin has posted there above, you need to be doing between 101-110 for the magistrate to consider a ban, although it does depend on your history.
