Sold a phone to some guy to pay off debt. Said it was like new, and described that it came without a memory card. But me being a dick put condition new in the top bit! But I did say it was used...
Anyway to get to the point, he's saying its damaged?   it's not damaged at all, theres nothing wrong with it!
I just think hes bitter because it doesn't include the memory card, and I said what the box includes! He said he's going to complain to ebay and paypal. Will they do anything? He may want a full refund, but as I sold phone to clear an important debt I can't give him the cash back

even if you withdraw the cash paypal can pay him still and file a case against you. To what extent is it damaged?

Its not, may have a scratch thats all....
Its hardly been used to full potentiol. only a few months old no way near damaged!

tell him it was undamaged when sent and to kindly STFU moaning. Do you have pics of phone that you posted on ebay as part of advert? get ebay to view the item and prove you stated about the no memory card

argue that you have stated in the description that it is used! Its the description that matters, if you said used then he has no case really. Even if you put condition as new! You could always argue that he could have made the scratch.

I didn't say "theres no memory card"
I just said what the box includes. He's moaning about delivery too but I waited till payment had cleared before sending.

I just dont want bad feedback and dont want ebay taking money out I don't have! Then I'll be fucked again!

If it wasn't damaged before you sent it AND he didn't pay for insurance when posted, then it's his own fault really. If he was that bothered about it, and it was damaged in transit, he could have asked you to add insurance on it.
I wouldn't worry too much - as long as you have got a good feedback etc you should be ok. I bet eBay get loads of fuckers trying to pull stunts like this all the time.

Yeah. But that's the thing, he thought it was new, but he cannot read obviously as if you look it blatently says its been used!
Even though I made a mistake and did put new on the condition bit. but I did say in teh subject and description its used!

Well then it is his fault, eBay will see that. He should read all the description before committing, including postage, payment & whether it has insurance etc.
