(This should really be in 'FAQs & Tutorials' but i cant post in there lol)
1. Tap the filter to dislodge any large embedded dirt, then gently brush with a soft bristled brush.
2. Spray the filter with K&N cleaning fluid and leave on for 10 minutes
3. Rinse off the cleaning fluid with low pressure water, going from the inside out.
4. Shake off excess water and leave the filter out to dry. Do not use a hair dryer this will blow holes in the filter or the heat will skrink the filter media.
5. Oil each line of the filter and leave for 5 minutes. Then dab off any excess.
(note the oil is red to make your filter look new again )
and thats it, all done

DO use the oil. A K&N doesnt actually filter anything without the oil. BUT on cars with a MAF you must be careful not to over oil. If you have a MAF right next to your filter your better off with green cotton over K&N.
