Ok I'm gona be takin a 'lady' friend to london on the 2nd of Feb, staying in the Travellodge at London Kings Cross Royal is it??

Just wondering what or where is good to go, local, etc... pos tube usage, and so-forth... Will be a whole day/night thing...

Should be in london by 2pm, so reckoning a few hours 'site seeing', then some sort of meal, then pubs/clubs whatever... then taxi back to the hotel...

Recommendations?? We will still probably be on a buzz from the previos night as were seeing Jimmy Carr too, so I want it to be just as good a night!

Also, were more into alternative/rock/metal/punk sort of stuff, or cheesy 70's/80's but not the dancy housy stuff...

Cheers

Tiger Tiger is fcuking poor

As suggested take her sightseeing, perhaps a boat trip on the thames and then get off at the London Eye. London Dungeons (Tower Hill) and a toffee apple from a stand somewhere

Then when it starts getting dark you can hit Motion (right outside Embankment tube station) and then off to somewhere more lively (Leicester Sq. perhaps).

Hope you have a good time mate

I've only ever been drunk when I went there, met a couple of nice brazilian girls so maybe I have a better impression of it than you.

at the Roadhouse comment, that place is a real touch of class.

Dude try and get into the ICE BAR only allowed in for 45mins and the drinks are a little pricey. BUT.. its a bar made out of ice. what more do you want

Covent Garden is a pretty good place to go out. Loads of pubs and bars.
