I got a 8000K set for christmas and am about to fit them
Has any one got any priceless pearls of wizdom for us before we begin? like whwere is the best place to secure the ballast? as i'm guessing theres no tailor made shelf under the lamp like on the astra...

Dont know why i even bother with this site any more
They are all fitted, look f**kin amazing and i've taken all the pics i need for an indepth how2.

Yes they are xenon and they are fitted to angel eye projector lights

As daz said, ignore the idiots on here - theres plenty of decent people willing to help.
Id be interested in how these perform over standard. Im guessing they run off a different voltage than standard bulbs? Much wiring involved?

So they very white, or slightly purple?
Was there much wiring needed, relays etc?

Everything you need comes in the kit and 12000K would be more purple, these are are 8000K so a clean blue white

lower the rating, the brighter the light
8000 kit is a good one, does look good...
you may notice though the wa the light is spread will be different to regular H-type bulbs were...

find out from whoever bought them where they got the kit from. I know there are loads on ebay but i dont really trust the quality of those ones.
