what can you suggest... must suit the following
faster than a lexmauled corsa 1.6
no higher than group 15ish insurance
budget of £2500
cant be nothing old like 205 gti 
have cash but dont know what to get    
i know ive been asking alot, but this will be my final thread regarding what car I promise

Xsara VTS, mate has one - Ive driven it, really good fun car to drive and nice in the goldy yellow colour

Yeah he bought it like that.
Another mate bought a P plate 306 GTi-6 but only 2 days into owning it he met Mr Big Bill coz the engine blew up on it then after nearly 1k fixin that the heater matrix etc went.
Its all sorted now though and the 306 is a very fun car, maybe a little bit better than the Xsara but the 306 has Selex shocks and springs, the Xsara is just running gmax springs so hard to comment.

xzaras aint that nice inside, fun to drive but too much like an old mans car, get the 306 gti 6 ma m8 had 1 v.nice cars

im not THAT bothered about interior any more as i just need a car..
gti-6 with under 80k is going to cost me about 3000
where as i can get xsara vts for 2000ish with 40-50k miles..
but i agree the 306 is much nicer
