im talking to those people with aftermarket inlet manifolds.
what bigger engined cars can you keep up with?

lets say you have from 110 - 140bhp from your 1.4/1.6

how do you do against...

gsi's
v6's
vts

etc

Well I have a 1.4 16V SRi with a few mods and I have beat a saxo vtr and a couple vectra SRi's (obviously not the v6 ones)

yeah ive beat afew 2.0 vectra's. but once in 4th gear they all fly by lol

Pull away from phase one VTS's quite easy (seem slower than the phase two's) can slowly catch a phase two after 50mph+

Keep with 106GTi's, pull away from 206 GTi's (136bhp) 2.0 GTi escorts, Suzuki Baleno's 1.6 16v's, Swift GTi's, Corsa C 1.8 SRi, Astra 2.0 16v Sport. Cant think of anymore.

vts are a good race but havnt let one go yet
nova gsi is another good race but not enough
punto gt dont come close

it's slow as fook!

All you gotta do is inlet and strip a 1.6 16v

Edit - Stav's is a inleted 1.6 16v too IIRC

Induction kit, performance inlet, 4-1 manifold, de-cat, 2.25" straight thru full system. Weighs 910kg.

I can keep up with most modern day sports cars, went past a DB9 the other day.

Yes, this may have happened in traffic but the question was not specific enough

In my Xe ive done mk4 & Mk5 Gtis,Vectra V6s,CTR,VTRs,Bmw M3 and fuckin wasted a Punto Gt turbo..
