hello iv put together my spax rsx's like it says but seems a bit odd with having to rings at the bottom but thats what it says in the leaflet is this correct ?

i put mine on the bottom, i think its to stop the bumpstop sliding over the strut

think in the instructions it says you can have one or both in. alters the hieght i think, cant quite remember though

arhhhh cool so sounds like iv done it right any recommendations on stiffness for a let engine iv just put them all as stiff as they'll go lol!!

I've got mine on its softest setting, seems about right, still quite bumpy

there easy... took me an fternoon but only because the rears shocker bolts were a complete bastard to get off

I've only got to do the front shockers, 10 minute job. Rears are already on. Problem is I'm not sure how to put the top mount together. No destructions.

well they look right on that pic, but afaik i only used 1 per shock, and was at the bottom like that

yes you need two at the bottom its to lock them against each other so that it does rotate when you are on bump, not so necessary on a r0adcar but need them on race cars due to the high vibrations

he's asking about the plastic bits under the bump stops, not that spring locators

go to a motor factors and ask them for the strut top barens and they come in with the tops so ya get the baren the big black part and take ya old shock apart and ya find like this cone'ish shaped metal part that goes on top of that big black baren that is like built in the black disk then put the top on with the rubber built in and the 2 bits on top wich ya tighten ya nuts on then the metal round top i painted yellow off ya old strut and get sold mole grips and make sure ya keept the very top metal tip what the nut goes over from turning while tighting the nut up look at mine for idea's
