is this even possible i thought the largest the 16XE could be rebored to was 1.7

It could be done BUT would have to be a stroker kit you would prob just get to 1.7 with bigger pistons

well its a small block engine and you can get a 1.8 corsa c sri with is a small block engine also (x18xe1 and z18xe)

reason as you get like a TAX disc over there which is like insurace aswell, thats the reason they are alot, cos you paying for :-
- The Car
- The Tax
- The Insurace

Z18XE is different to the 16XE engines, the block is different dimensions with different spacing between each cylinder.

No. you pay for the car, and still have to pay ON TOP of that, the green slip, pink slip, rego, and your own insurance if you decide you want fully comp.
SB Barinas are more expensive than the equiv Corsa B
