steering racks,horn buttons,ball joints,cv boot clips,handbrake cables frayed,bcm's failing,flashers flashing too fast.

I do know the ball joints were replaced before xmas. Failed the MOT on that.

everything bubblevaux said, plus gear linkages, clutch is hydraulic, and they're crap, so it might be worn.

all of the above and push the clocks in and see if there's movement, could cause hassle 
they tend to die if the clocks vibrate towards the steering wheel, they wont start or anything

Yep. Managed to get it for £2340
Needed a new backbox and thorough Valet, which have both been done yesterday.
