I make curries quite often. They are easy once you have the spices.

You will need;

Turemic
Cardamon
Cumin seeds
Paprika
Curry Powder
Chilli powder
Garlic
Ginger

Fresh chillies
Ghee butter
Onion

Meat
Tinned tomato's (optional)
Peppers (optional)
Potato (optional)

With the above you can just about make any curry.
