hi folks, at the moment ive got a straight through de-cat pipe with the silencer removed going to a janspeed twin dtm backbox

but ... im not gettin a deep noise it sounds more like a modded old scule beetle (a lot of people think so anyway lol) and i do like it but im after a deep noise and i have been told it is because of the box - a better quality one such as peco or something would give a much better sound apparently

so anyone got anythin for sale?? would collect in the mids area

I've got a Mongoose twin dtm backbox. I always found it gave a nice deep sound. It's in good condition.
Will sell for £45 posted if you're interested.

I think your lack of deep noise is down to your lack of back pressure, removing your baffles and cat makes it flow free'er but will give more raspy than deep buurble, you need a big rally spec back box to help i think

yeh the less boxes you have in your system equals more back pressure wich means a loud raspy sound.put a silencer in the system.

theres a thought. i took the silencer out as the exhaust was quite quiet on its own, and a mate had a decat he didnt want so did them both at the same time.

what if i put the cat back on but left the silencer out? rekon that would sound better?

cheers for the replys lads
