Got my new wheels on today, was also going to clean the car but the weather was crap and I lost all motivation.

Apart from the desperate need for tyre gel, what do people think?

robin - yeah team dynamics pro race 1.2

marc - the tyres match the inside arches, both need to look a bit blacker

jas - yeah it's the 137bhp version. I think they perform really well and I'm happy with it. doesn't get used often enough really though

mmm insurance group 14 as far as I can remember.

Plans for the moment are to...

1. Fit the new discs and pads I've just got
2. Replace both front droplinks
3. Service in a couple of weekends time

Long term plans are probably cams, tb's and a new manifold. Other than that just have fun with it on a few track days

Looks good, alloys match the mirrors nicely. Would it be worth spraying the rub strip and black on the bumpers shiney black too or would that be overkill?

I'm leaving the rub strips etc as they are for the moment. Don't feel like changing them for the sake of it really...

The wheels won't be too bad once they've got a bit of brake dust on them!

A bit of "back to black" will make them look more gloss. Worked wonders on my 12v.

In the pic the car is a bit dirty, I'll give it a wash soon and use some 303 aerospace protectant on it, will shine the black bits up a treat
