iv got my mot next week but im having trouble with my front left sidelight! i put a new bulb i because the other one had blown and it wouldnt work! i took it out and looked as if it had blown but the filiment inside hadn'd snapped! why could thsi be? also my rear back light flashes when my indicator is on! can i fail my mot for these things?

Did you try the sidelight bulb both ways round?

Rear light flashing i would say is an earth/wire fault, and i would say it would fail it but im not sure.

yeah, rear light is a fail.

take the plug off the light, and make sure the contacts are clean, check the earth on the light unit too.

that could be the problem with the sidelight too.

also, HELP ZONE.
