Not sure if this is normal but cant say I have ever noticed this before

I had just went down to put a pizza in the oven but when I had lit the oven the flames look more like orange than rather blue to me?

I had tried the top of the cooker as well and its pure orange with just a little blue

A properly adjusted gas flame will be blue in colour. A gas flame thats yellow or orange is one thats not properly adjusted and giving off excess CO. Yellow or Orange colouration may be normal when first lit, but should return to blue.

If I were you I'd get it checked urgently, it could be giving off poisonous Carbon Monoxide fumes

orange flame is usually particles bein burnt off from the burner (knock the burner and it will get more orange). yellow flame picture means, usually, that the aeration ports or injector to the burner are blocked.
