well unless the base spec models have recaro's i'm sure they are different.

They probably do but thats more to do with Recaro making a large variety of seats rather than the base models having sport seats.

The seats in my Corsa are rubbish. the seats in my Mum's Corsa are great.

They LOOK similar, they don't FEEL similar.

In reality it probably will understeer by design - its a production road car built for the general public.

Not a bi-product of its roofline
