Hey guys was just wondering if i was to wack a viper induction kit on a 1.4 sport wot gains am i looking at?
Anyone else done this...is it worth it or shud i not bother as its a 1.4 afterall lol!

Maybe 4-5bhp if your lucky. Its the extra response you really get.

So not worth it then? lol...im looking at improving power and stuff for the future...mate owns a renault 5 1.4 prima campus and renault GT turbo...i aint got a chance of beating him when his in the turbo but killing the prima wud be nice  ...it almost does it anyway, just need a little more haha

As said you wont notice much other than induction noise... possibly a gain of a few BHP.
If you want a decent gain then think about exhaust/inlet manifold changes.

bin thinking bout them too...exterior first...then gonna look into improving performance, has anyone here gone all out on a sport...wanna know wots possible from them

from a 1.6? N/A i think the SBD kit is up there, 240ish, but thats a race spec engine

think a lot of people on here opt for the 1.6's simply because the 1.4 wont have the torque.
oh and you wont get 'mad' figures without ££££'s

If you're prepared to splash out the cash to get one its probably the best type of filter to get.
