Here is a video that was taken a few months ago. both the cars in the video are owned by me now,but i m driving the corsa in the video 
The nova has 172bhp,not sure what my corsa has though.

i must say that any sort of racing is illegal and highly dangerous,unless done on my own private piece of road,and under the supervision of a responsible adult

Try n find out the bhp of your Corsa, coz if its pretty similar to your Nova then I didnt know that the Nova pulls that much better than a Corsa with a 2.0 in!

yeah ,its jus got filter, powercap,exhaust. the car may have been running like crap as it was overfuellin.
but the nova is VERY quick

the Nova is lighter than a corsa and the corsa is Standard IMO ...

Nova looks impressive. The Nova pulled quite alot on you K3 VMU considering he only has 16bhp more..

Novas are known to be 1 second quicker up the strip than Corsas.

yeah it did,i think at the start i was slow at gettin started,the novas a tool,totally different to any xe corsa i ve been in.

They are lighter than a waffle.
The difference between my Nova and a Corsa is ridiculous, Lee can move my Nova around outside his house by himself but a Corsa he needs help with.

corsa`s r heavy motha fukkas , mines aint stripped,plus had a boot full of polishing/cleaning stuff not really worried,just uploaded the video for everyone to c ,and get some comments

Thought the kerb weight wasent that much different?
E.G Take a 1.4 8v SR nova and a 1.4 8v SRi corsa, surely the Corsa can't weigh that much more? 30-40kg more perhaps?

30-40kg ?? thats quite abit,difference between bieng more than a ton or less than? okay i know 5kg can be the difference,but i think that if i could lose 30-40kgs out of the corsa i would still be heavier? but i dunno

Say if it was 30-40kg heavier, still wouldnt be a second slower down the 1/4 mile, surely...

cant tell much about performance difference in that vid tho .. not a long enough run . to me the nova just got a better start .. alltho i would expect the nova to have the edge .. just not that much

Yeah the nove did have an edge on the corsa, but as u say its not a long enough run eg dual carriageway.
but the nova does pull on the corsa ,and i should expect it too,different boxes,bieng lighter and slightly more performance
