asked a user to email over some "screen shots" of the errors he is getting.

so he emails me some photos he has taken using a digi camera of his monitor PMSL

fantastic. stuff.. got glare and fuzzy lines across it

People like you make my job harder

I install something for some one which needs a restart and the user says 'why do you lot always ask for the pc to be restarted it doesnt make any difference'

Had a user who the helpdesk spent 'ages' with earlier. Problem: can get on the intranet but not the internet.

Ok connect to them, open up IE goes to the intranet, type www.google.co.uk it loads up. the woman says it didnt work for me!

I said try it.

She was trying google in the address bar

How can i help these people.

Its suprising how many people get annoyed they cant receive their emails / view their website when their internet is offline.
