Right, might be coming into a bit of cash. And I'll be after a new motor if i do. Was thinking a 3series or A3/4.

Thought i'd see if you lot could come up with any ideas.

Oh, im only 20 so nothing bigger than 2ltr.

Skoda Octavia VRs?

Pros:
german build quality
fast for its size
older ones 1.8t newer are 2.0t
tunable
look great
high spec

cons:
turbo=maybe high insurance
big car

The VRs would be 10x better surely, you dont need 4wd and the skoda has leather, climate, traction etc etc that the audi's got, for much less £££ and the same german build quality + its 2.0t not n/a turbo

Will struggle to get a good S3 for that money.

A3 1.8T (Quattro if you can find one) would be my choice.

what???? i know it's a 2.0t, same engine that is in the golf gti, it's called a tfsi.

The only ones in his budget with decent mileage are pre facelift so thats a0 7 year old car. Like I said depends on you're definition of whats good and whats not.
