i've got a big hole in the middle pipe and my back box is on it's way out motosave have quoted £80 for both and fitting is that good/bad? not sure either whether i should just sort out the middle pipe and leave the back box till it goes or just get it all sorted now? any ideas on what i should do?

So £80 all in not £80 each? Seems allright to me. I paid £57 for the middle box on mine including fitting.

go to kwik fit, charged me 40 quid for a middle section fitted

Doesn't seem to be a bad price - Blowing Exhaust is possibly the worst thing in the world ever.

If they are doing the middle box anyway then its hardly any work to fit the backbox while they are at it so may aswell have it all done at once.

personally wouldnt go to motorfactors but thats my opinion. got middle and rear sections from vauxhall, werent actually that expensive.

so true, the one closests to me are great, take care of your wheels etc, helps that they all love cars and all have mint vw's.

Motosave said £40 just for the middle section or £80 for the middle and back box. It's really annoying coz it's noisy and costing me so much more in petrol i think i'm losing power aswel if thats possible in a 1.2!
