I have just brought a Vibe enclosure that houses three 10" subs with a peak power of 3900w and a RMS of 1300w. It only has one "input" for power. I have been recomended a monoblock amplifier. What sort of power amp should I be looking for? There is a sony mono amp on ebay at the mo that looks ok - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=006&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=160066095665&rd=1&rd=1

Im not to sure if thats what I should be looking for? Cheers

Probs about £150 pal. I have seen a Vibe monoblock for about that which powers 1200w @ 1ohm for that price so I think that sounds good value for what I want.

get a jbl 120.1 amp matey around 220 new and when put to 2 ohms good for a 1000wrms all day. jbl are quite accurate with power ratings unlike shitty amps like sony, pyramid, lanzar and things like that

would ideally need to find out the voice coil configs, and if its wired in series or parralell as B4L already said

heres a wiring diagram for parallel, you would NEED an amp that will work at this impedance
