yes its fords, but look more into the actual results the FWD cars got, TBH running alot of more than some of the people on here, but alot i reckon the LET engine cars could beat or match, would love to sort out a ford vs Vaux day with a mag to see if its possible

Was just about to say why didn't the Rayland Cosworth not run? and some of those are very quick FWD times. Would love to see them up against a few high powered Corsas from here

Not really blown away by the figures, like you say, I reckon we could manage some of them quite easily.

couple of things to bear in mind:
stuart collins had a broken diff and had so muhc power he ripped the tread off his tyres!
smaile did his head gasket.....
abs (abid) did well for running only 1 bar of boost!
some impressive times, but i have always thought that the rst's times are a bit lame!
be interesting to see what stuarts car can do running gas tho!

it was a big rush to get everything sorted for alot of people tho.
christian had bonnet/windscreen interface issues.
stuarts car was mapped the night before, i was there till 3am IIRC
simon had 3 pistons at about 2pm the day before due to boost hppyness!
the car that impressed me the most was abid!
quick car and not running 209123bar of boost like many others

i agree there arn't many that have done a decent 1/4 mile, especially when you compare the cost of some of these engine to gaz'd's car

Have you got any "rough" Power figures, or engine specs of what the FWD boys were running?
Some lovely old skool machinery there!
