Had my coupe lowered yesterday with Eibach shocks and 30mm springs. What a difference it’s made to the handling. It’s so much better than my lowered Corsa was. Where the Corsa use to under steer the Astra feels like it’s on rails!
What I thought was unusual was when I rang up LMF to buy the shocks and springs I was told not to bother with the shocks as the springs are so good by themselves. Strange for a company to turn down an extra 300 pounds.
First here is a 'before' pic;

and here are the after pics;

As expected the drop at the front isn't that noticeable but I knew that before buying the kit (Many weeks of research and pic hunting).
The springs cost 115, the shocks were 300 and then a further 100 pounds to have the kit fitted at a local garage.

Can't tell the differance but I can imagine there will be a big differance in the way the car handles.

Yeah the handling has been totally transformed and yet it still retains the comfort of the coupe (well the rider is a little harsher)
Even in the wet it keeps gripping, can't wait for some dry weather

This is hopefully one of my future mods. It'll look good once they've settled down - lower, but still comfortable

Its a 1.8 - a nice step up from my old 1.0 ltr.
The isn't crashy at all, its only when a road gets bumpy do you notice the fact your driving a lowered car.

probably 100 times better than the shit set up that came with it. My one felt like a boat when it was standard.
