Just renewed my insurance, but have gone in my name this year with HIC.

Very good deal, last year we paid £800 on my Corsa 1.6 Sport, in my mum's name with me named. This year, its £875 in my name.

Also am allowed mods up to 10 bhp, and £1500 worth of other mods, including suspension, brakes etc.

I'm very happy!

Thats a cracking quote. I'm 20, no NCB etc and i got quoted 1500on a 1.8 vectra. with no mods

No Phil, TPFT.

It was another £300 for comp, and extra £250 for excess on top of current £400 excess.

Would have worked out at £950 extra if I took out comp and crashed, and car only cost me £1100, so decided not to bother.

I told them I was a member on here, and that I had a quote from Elephant of £900, which was actually £966.

He said his was slightly higher, but then rang his boss and managed to get it to £875. Also asked if I subscribed to Total Vauxhall

im 18, £912 fully comp, 1 yrs no claims (off my bike) 1 claim in my name

on a 1.4 16v

so i wouldn't say that was cheap really, try lloyds tsb
