Building a corsa 2.0lt, Need some shafts! any way of getting around it with out buying the expensive one's?

yeah Fuckin blow one apart and killed the Cv joints...2.0 ones are defo worth it IMO

depends how you drive if you drive like a prick then your gonna kill the 1.6 shafts but if your sensible then you should be ok

Hmmm Setting off from the lights then Change in to 2nd then it goes pop and that was 5 mins after coming of the motorway and No i wasnt killing it..

EDIT: what over ones can u use apart from the M-tech ones(Expensive ones)

there is another vaux shaft u can use. i think (think) its a mk2 astra van shaft or something which has the correct ends for the cv joints and gearbox altho they r rare as rocking horse shit now and new non genuine ones are aparently different. dont quote me on those being the right ones (mk2 astravan) but they are 100& def shafts that cand ot he job..

but danny how do you drive? im not picking fault but ive only found that they brake when you rag the fuck out of it youve got a valver corsa imo you rag it as would any other person with a valver corsa and i admit i rag mine thats why it needs a new engine

go with the 1.6 gsi shafts with mk2 cavvy inner cv's i can't fault them and i've given them hell and there still going strong
