every now and again my computer, well my internet seems to run slow. even when i remove the wireless connection and go back to the normal broadband modem it only downloads at 8kb/s.

its supposed to be 8mb, and often does work fast. just lately it has been slow.

anyone offer any help? things to check or look at?

i noticed it more today than anything trying to do a software update, took an hour for a 4mb to download.

router problem or more likely to be the internet provider?

right, cheers, that makes more sense. will need to ask what is going on then i think as dont want to pay for what we are not getting
