Thinking about going to London in summer, maybe end of June, just wondered if anyone could recommend any good 4/5 star hotels situated central to most of the main attractions??

i stopped at the london county hall premier travel inn, not sure what star they class it as but its usualy £80+ a night, me and the people i went with got a discount cos we all have discount cards for the main company.. anyways thats right next to the london eye and a 10min walk from the tube station. forgot what the station was called though.. if you want any info on the travel inn hotels then u2u me because i work in a travel inn my self could probably get you a discount or even a room for half price.. i know i could book a room there for half price over the internet but you just need a discount card for proof you work for them, i could probably just lend you mine and give you thr name of the place i work for

London bores me, I only ever go there now when I'm taking a slut out on a date or something. I try to avoid it where possible.

I only take an overland train into liverpool street then walk so its bearable. Doing early shift means you miss the real crowds, and when you do a late shift it isnt as busy at the proper peak!!

Paris. You'd have a FAR better time there than in London, restaurants are more common, the atmosphere is better, hotels are good, loads of shops, loads of other stuff to do, like the Louvre, Eiffel tower, Arc De Triumphe etc, it's much MUCH better.
I went to both with school in the last year I was there, and Paris was better (the ladies love it )
