the new bit is the smoke grey section on the bumper, basically as its a pre97 bumper it has the ugly grooves in the sides/corners irmscher made a valance for CDX edition corsa b's that were colour coded and made the bumper look smooth much like the post 97 bumpers.

Thanks anyway Matt i must admit your corsa was awsome, but on to bigger and better things.

How is the new car anyway?

as mark said...

if not, go for a half colour coded post 97 bumper - as that would work with it

had a bit of a bump tonight. some tw@t pulled out infront of me on a roundabout, they didnt even look or consider if another car was coming i slammed on the anchors .. back end flicked out .. applied opposite lock .. gripped flicked back in the oppisite direction & bang hit the kurb

had a mooch about the car and had a blow out, couldn't see much if any other damage, no play in the suspension from what i can see and no scrubbing/grinding when driving .. pulls to the left tho so maybe tracking is out?

cheers guys.
just ordered another tyre and will be ordering another sxi alloy soon.

had a look in the light today and nothing looks bent. the car drives fine but does drift to the left, once the tyre has arrived and a get the ally on i will get the tracking checked .. think i got off quite lucky so far

Front end looks lovely. Almost retro as well, being pre-97.

Cheers mark

Eug, thanks mate, wow, touch wood ive never had to experience anything like that .. glad you were able to walk away from it tho

Update:
we had a bit of snow a few weeks back .. yep you guessed it i went out and took a few pics, thought it would be good to compare this years with last years pics.
first pic shows how the car looked last year and second is most recent

anyway .. i have been sorting a few things out on the car & im happy with it so far, all the tracking was checked & is spot on, she flew through MOT aswell I've also been searching for a CDX rear .. altho haven't had much luck tbh sooo i bought a post 97 rear bumper off Abdus on here top lad and great service (Recieved the bumper today)
Pics:

from what i gather smoke grey is a pre 97 colour so i wasn't able to find a facelift bumper in the colour i needed .. altho this shouldn't be too much of a problem as i'll hopefully get round to prepping & spraying it over the next couple of weeks.

i also want to sort the alloys out .. im planning on keeping them the same colour but just refurbing them before PVS . Does anyone know the vauxhall code for silver alloys?

Pretty sure it's star silver mate, but unsure of the paintcode!

So much different than last year
