Just had a brainwave (look out!) 
Once I get my drill back from my brothers I'm going to drill my airbox and derestrict it. But, on to my brainwave.....I was thinking perhaps that I might get a stanley knife and the hacksaw out and cut sections (below the filter line) out, leaving the corners intact for structural support. Then instead of having nasty looking drill holes in the airbox, I was thinking of using mesh and screwing/bolting it into the cut sections.....
Anyone else tried this or am I really showing how bored I am right now
