yeasterday some dozy bint decided to drive in to the back of me at about 30mph. rear end doesnt look too bad, cracked bumper the boot does not close properly and the floors a little bit creased, also my alpine face flew off and damaged a holding clip. its a x reg corsa sxi with 68k on the clock not sure if its worth them repairing it ?

anyway, put the claim in told them about the stereo and today an alpine cda-9855r arrived thismorning, about 7 models up from the one i had

just thought id let u all no that tesco have been great and id recommend them.

if the floors creased chances are it'll need to be jigged mate

i recon they will just write it off, only worth £1500- £2000 tops

yeah will get wrote off if the floor is creased, it wont be worth repairing in the eyes of the insurer

nice, just in time for christmas. the bird who crashed in to me has not been in touch with her insurance details either, id be surprised if i hear anything off her now :-(

did you get her registration plate??

to be honest, just report it to the police, give your account of everything, her reg number but say she didnt exchange details, and then get intouch with the insurance once you get a police reference

she gave me her reg, adress and contact details, she just has not bothed getting in touch. its in the hands of the insurance now, just would of saved time and excess if she had given them when asked.

I'm with Tesco and I've always found them ok. I rang them other day about putting my new engine in, just under 100% power increase £75!
