Agree with Orangio. Have a shake.

I just eat meat slices- ham, turkey etc or cook up a chicken breast the previous day and eat that cold.

Have you worked out the amount of protein you need daily or are you just trying to eat as much as possible?

make your own protein bars, theres loads of recipes on the net.

big bowl of raw oats
2-3 scoops of flavoured protein shake
raisins
nuts
and copious ammounts of honey

mix it toghether and stick it in fridge in foil wraps.

not to good when your cutting but very good if your trying to bulk up lol.

lots of cardio and a balanced diet is the way to go work out your maintenance calories and slowly reduce them and increase your cardio load.

I would imagine someone his size needs a stupid amount of protein. Rough calculator is around 1.5g per pound of bodyweight.

Accurately, for someone who trains its not that easy, there are a few formulas for Recommended daily amount needed by the body based on weight etc, (can't remember off hand) and i'm sure there will be literature on how to work it out for different atheletes with diferent goals as Sam said.

From what i've been told in nutrition at uni, there is no conclusive research that say protein shakes work,( in terms of if and adequate diet is already in place) alot of research suggests that excess protein turns to fat and carbs, so if you are eating shit loads of protein chances are its just adding to other area of your diet, not an issue if you are skinny like me and struggle to eat enough but if you are already consuming loads of carbs and fat anyway than it might be more detremental. (alot more complex then that but thats what i have grasped, my friend is doing a dissertation on it giving protein shakes to rugby players and i know he has just done a lit review for it so i'll ask him when hes next on-line. Obviously shakes are convient, and thats why i'd probably use them if could afford to at present.
