Xmas day has arrived and so have a couple of goodies for the car!!

First present of the day was an F28 mount from Chris Astley Engine can now be fully mounted, will be fitted later!

Second present was a big box this time, didnt know it was coming but was nice surprise. Spax RSX coilovers (Krypton gas).

May get more pics later if anything is fitted.

Have a good Xmas all!!

hello,
some major progress today,
finally got my instruction for my alarm via email so could set about fitting this,
have no power to the vehicle as currently relocating the battery to the boot as there is no room for EPAS pump etc with it in the orignal place so just layed the wires out to where they needed to go,
with this done i fitted the black late spec dash,
with this in place the cambelt was then fitted and timed up(big thanks to a friend for his help)
then the next big purchase came ready to offer up,
Full retrimed leather interior inc front and rear seats and front and rear cards + parcel shelf,
The leather was bought off a member of cs previously 7omm but we tracked down who it got sold to and a purchase was made.
very pleased with it the quality of the work is unreal, dont see many this good its not ure usual £1000 pound jobbie. The grade of the leather looks first class, and smells very leathery!lol

trial fitted the interior as couldnt resist,as you can see there a bit wonky but will be getting the frames from the scrappy tomorow if its open,
Its a split rear seat type (the GSi isnt) so will be getting the brackets out of a later car and weld them in.
need to get my quater windows back in now so cant wait for this so i can start to fit the trim properly,
Still waiting for my poly bushs so the axel and arms can go on and the car can be brought back down to the ground.
as soon as its on the floor il roll it out of the garage and put the wings and doors on then she will look more car like again!
anyway heres todays work in picture form................
