The tighter the spring, the more braking force on the back wheels. I slackened mine off so theres hardly anything there.

Do have big front brakes though.

If you go 40mm then you wont need to do anything,60mm and you will need to to fabricate a bracket for it but it needs to be a certain length. Its covered in the haynes mod manual and do a search on here.

Disagree. Mine is lowered 40mm. I stamped on the brakes one day, the back overtook the front.

Thats assuming the valve is correctly adjusted on your car at standard height and indeed functioning correctly. Personally I would always always always check the bias after lowering and slacken if its even a bit happy.

Few sharp stops on quarter of a turn in an empty car park will tell you. Don't assume that because your car isn't lowered much it'll be OK. I've driven standard stuff which has had pad/fluid changes etc. and it has still needed attention.

Agreed. I lowered mine 40mm and ended up sideways down an empty road trying it.

I just disconnected the spring on mine and left the flap thing sat at the top. (or bottom, can't remember.) Do a search on it.
