Blue, plus the red from the blood in my arm, combined with the yellow tint from that room, makes it appear purple.

Went and got new paint, along with extra primer and stuff, so set about getting them sprayed up today... bit of an awkard shape to do but I love em

Really pleased with the finish from the gun, especially as I've had to keep the heaters on full with the cold/damp weather today:

Prob needs a couple more coats in a while then leave overnight and see about getting them on the car tomorrow before work.

Was one of the first things I did going on 5 years ago, it's the standard dash parts covered with that Folia Tec "carbon fibre" effect film.

If you do it without rushing and make sure it's all properly returned round the edges, doesn't look too bad

I have unfortunate news.

At approximately 23:25 on the 5th April 2007, M16 AJG (known affectionately as Mike Sixteen) was involved in a road traffic collision. As a result it suffered what will most likely be terminal damage, and is therefore soon to be joining the likes of Godfather's Stormtrooper at the big PVS in the sky.

After 5 years and coming up on 100k miles of ownership, it's fair to say I'm fucking gutted. RIP little car.
