Lamppost Dodging is one I like to use.
Shows good awareness, reactions, being able to act under pressure and think on the go.

you dont really put skills on a cv...more a covering letter....
unless you're describing previous job experiences and how they improved your skills

I thought you put skills on a CV. You then describe how you'd be suited to the position on the covering letter.
Fcuk knows as I haven't had to do it in a while

a draft of mine
I am writing to enquire as to whether you have any opportunities for a newly qualified Corporate and Commercial Solicitor within your firm and I enclose my CV for your consideration.
I am currently employed by Neilsons Solicitors in Edinburgh, Scotland and am due to complete my Legal Traineeship in July 2007.
Throughout my Traineeship I have dealt with a variety of Corporate and Commercial transactions, including commercial leasing, purchase and sale of commercial premises, businesses and companies and commercial securities. I have had direct client contact from an early stage, progressing onto dealing with transactions on an individual basis. This has given me experience of managing caseloads and working under pressure together with giving me increased confidence when working with clients.
I have had the opportunity of travelling extensively throughout the world, including Singapore, India, Dubai, Malaysia and throughout Europe, and also lived in Italy for two years as a child. I am eager to live and work abroad upon qualification, particularly in Singapore.
[paragraph specific to firm saying how ace they are]
I am hard working and ambitious and am confident working individually and/or as part of a team.
I would be grateful if you would consider my CV.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully
