We have a Navara 2.5 td, Is a nice looking car, not the best car to drive however.

And my friend had the import pajero 2.8 turbo intercooler one. Seemed to pull great in overdrive, was about 100quid for a full tank of petrol though and it gets through it quick as anything.

Out of the two regarding price etc, id pick the pajero as he picked his up for 2300 and was in a pretty gd state at that.

i think a 944 would be better though... or an old 635....

ach.... its just getting silly now.

I'd sell the RR/Impreza for the following

Cheap navara/L200 that looked good
SWB Td shogun/Pajero
Defender 90 TDi (or V8 mule ) - my fav

The beetle idea just add's dead weight to the collection to be honest. I wouldnt want to buy a beetle to sit outside and be used to go round town in. Maybe i'm strange, dunno

maybe its just a car and should be used

In all seriousness i'd buy the swb pajero and put as much cash towards the second flat if it were me.

Are you not moving out the country soon anyway?

yes....well in about a year and a half.

The plan is....
My traineeship finishes in July. I dont want to stay with the firm that I'm at and need to get experience for about a year in a big firm to be able to move abroad.
Most firms are in town...so I wouldnt really need a car to get to and from work anymore.

So sell the impreza, buy another flat and keep them both whilst we're abroad.

The skyboat is being kept as our track car....the porsche is a posh car...and then something just for a run around, go to Aberdeen, get the shopping, and to be used maybe if the skyboat breaks

It would be sold when we move away

So you won't be selling all of the cars when you go away?! (just away for a period of time yeah?).

Sounds sensible, I'd go with the original plan then as I said above.

Don't buy anything that's gonna be difficult to sell or needs alot of looking after (beetle, 635 etc).

Buy something that does the job like the shogun

Na...we'll probably keep the Skyline and Porsche... think the plan is to be away for 2 years or so

Can use the porsche when we come back for holidays, and maybe fit in a few track days

My plan is to own a red evo with white wheels whilst we're in singapore

Tommi makininen one

Expensive toys to keep at home, although don't suppose either of those will lose any money if you keep them stored right.
