washed my car today as normal, i went out in the car afterwards and when i put my foot down on the brake it made a rubbing sound which is normal because my disks were wet, this normally just wears off after braking a couple of times, however this time the noise got worse and louder and my brakes started to fail, by that i mean i couldnt stop as quick as usual, i even rolled out on to a main road at a junction because i just couldnt stop in time, luckily no cars were coming! anyway i drove it to my local garage, everytime i braked on the way the noise got louder and my braking got worse! was so scary just hope it gets fixed, was like driving without brakes! what i cant understand is that there was a wierd noise when i turned round corners too, tbh i realy dont know whats up with it! any ideas guys! cheers

sorry for the essay by the way but realy am so pissed off!

Discs and pads?

Or, Discs and actual brakes?

If discs and pads, you can get them cheaper than that.

remove calipers
replace shoes take wee screw out removed discs and replace wheel back on
tighten wheel bolts,
lower jack
retighten wheels and thats u
repeat for other wheel
